In 2018, Crave Theatre had not been officially formed, however we did create a pilot production; an undated adaptation of Hamlet, set in a modern day pub with the main protagonists all impacted by substance dependence resulting in the play's tragic consequences.

The actors that played Hamlet, Ophelia, Gertrude and Claudius were all in recovery and some have described their experience of working on a classical play as a recovering addict, and how their lived experience impacted their explorations of the themes of addiction within the production, below:
