We are a theatre company and acting studio created for experienced or aspiring actors whose lives have been impacted by alcohol or drug misuse.
We celebrate sobriety within the performing arts industry and provide transformative training and performance opportunities for those wishing to discover, or rediscover a desire to act.
Founded by performers who have themselves recovered from alcohol and drug addiction issues, the shared lived experience within our rehearsal rooms and classes encourages both personal and professional growth through the craft of acting.

Crave Theatre Company
Our Theatre Company provides a helping hand back to acting for experienced performers who previously left the business due to drug or alcohol misuse. We create and perform full length productions of classical and contemporary plays in order to reignite our performer's love for acting and develop their recovery-informed artistic process.
Crave Acting Studio
Tailored for aspiring actors in sobriety, our classes offer a range of skills and approaches at different levels and aim to help those in recovery who hope to go on to explore a career in acting and the performing arts. It is our aim that our Studio creates an acheivable pathway towards our Company and public performance.
Crave Theatre COMMUNITY
Founded and led by RADA-trained professional actor and director Gavin Antony, who is himself 10 years sober, our company's ethos, vision and methods have been carefully curated to balance the needs of sober actor and prospective audience. Alongside our recovery engaged rehearsal practices, we strive to recalibrate public perception, remove shame, and promote visibility of sober excellence within the acting business.

Our actors not only learn how to express themselves again but re-educate themselves about their self-destructive nature and complex relationship with the world.
Through our work our actors learn to self-reflect and self-examine which improves their ability to build emotional resilience and confidence. From this position they are better equipped to re-build their lives and create positive pathways towards new goals.
