The type of personal information we collect 

We currently collect and process the following information via this website:

• Name and contact details, email addresses, contact preferences and employee data if explicitly provided via forms on our website, when giving a donation, becoming a member, or joining our email mailing list.
• We also collect your engagement with digital communications once you have consented to receiving emails, along with anonymous monitoring data if you provide it via a monitoring form on our website which is anonymous.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• General enquiries and referrals 
• Making a donation or becoming a member so we can process your donation and manage your membership
• Using your email address to send emails you have asked to receive
• Applying for a job so we can process your application
• Taking part in surveys so we can understand our audiences better or carry out market research

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

• From email management software 
• From Customer Relationship Management software 

We use it to manage and schedule our digital communications.  

We may share this information internally and use it to track engagement in communications to improve performance.

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored on our website server, our internal IT systems, within our Customer Relationship Management system and within our Email Management system. 

We will keep your name. contact details, contact references and engagement with digital communication until such time you remove consent or you have not engaged with us for two years. We will then dispose of your details by deleting your data from our internal IT systems. 

When you make a donation or become a member we will record and store how much you have donated or the level of membership you have opted for until such time you remove consent or you have not engaged with us for six years. We will then dispose of your details by deleting your data from our internal IT systems. We will not store any payment information from donations or memberships such as card details, which will instead be processed via secure merchant accounts: Stripe or GoCardless.

We will keep job application information for two years after your application unless you specifically consent to us keeping your details on our record. We will then dispose of your details by deleting your data from our internal IT systems. 

Information we collect via cookies
